Actor Sidharth Shukla dies of heart attack at the age of 40

Sidharth Shukla, who became a household name with his role in the television show Balika Vadhu, died on Thursday at the age of 40. He was brought dead to the Cooper Hospital in Mumbai's Juhu, hospital authorities told news agency PTI. He is survived by his mother and two sisters.

Sidharth Shukla started out in showbiz as a model and made his acting debut with the 2008 TV show Babul Ka Aangann Chootey Na. Mr Shukla also starred in several other shows such as Jaane Pehchaane Se... Ye Ajnabbi, Love You Zindagi, CID and Dil Se Dil Tak. His lead role on the show Balika Vadhu, in which he featured with late actress Pratyusha Banerjee, made him a star. He also participated in reality shows including Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 6, Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 7 and Bigg Boss 13. In 2014, Sidharth Shukla made his Bollywood debut with the Karan Johar-produced Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania where he had a supporting role.

After the shocking news of Sidharth Shukla's demise, his friends Asim Riaz and Rahul Mahajan rushed to Cooper Hospital, Mumbai. Director Ashoke Pandit and Hindustani Bhau were also spotted at the hospital.

More than 17,000 tree species at risk of extinction globally

Author - Megha goyal Almost a third of the world’s tree species are at risk of extinction, while hundreds are on the brink of being wiped out, according to a landmark report published by Botanic Gardens Conservation International (BGCI) on Wednesday. Some 469 of India’s 2,603 tree species (18 per cent) are threatened with extinction, a new report released September/1/2021, has shown. The country is also home to 650 endemic tree species that are not found anywhere else. There are 142 species already extinct, while 442 others are teetering on the brink, with fewer than 50 trees remaining in the wild. The most important threats to tree species are forest clearance for a variety of jobs other kinds of habitat loss like exploitation for timber, drugs, and so on and the distribute of invasive pests and illnesses. Streets flooded, massive traffic jams as Delhi receives highest rain in September in 19 years

The temperature was at 26 levels Celsius and the humidity degree hovered above 80 per cent. The nationwide capital woke up to heavy showers on Thursday, a day after the Capital obtained the highest September rainfall in 19 years. Over the final two days, Delhi has been seeing heavy rainfall ranging from early in the morning and persevering with for hours, main to a significant waterlogging concern and heavy visitors. However, the India Meteorological Department expects the rain to stop in the next couple of hours. The weather department said the ‘cloud patch’ hovering over Delhi is moving northwards.
